i agree its a pipe dream on the Big 12' s part (and ours), but if Notre Dame even considered it for a minute I could see SMU being part of a package deal with ND, BYU and SMU. Notre Dame would want more private school influence and I gotta think they would like SMU for the following other reasons ...

Love marching bands.

Except for the fact that SMU's never really... marches. Hard to get psyched about a band that just stands in the middle of the field each performance.

In terms of facing off against a fast offense, what is the general consensus of how our defense will hold up?

I'm especially interested to see how our LB's fare, given the change up with Yenga and Fleps gone.
