Re: 2017-18 OOC schedule

Figured we'd start a thread and can update once more news comes out. As of now we know of:

@ TCU
Vs. USC
Vs. Boise State
Atlantis tournament, where we'll play 3 of the following: Villanova, Arizona, NC State, Purdue, Tennessee, Western Kentucky, and Northern Iowa.

I think we need one more marquee ...

Re: Semi Testing the NBA Waters (Did not hire agent)

I hadn't heard about redshirting McMurray, interesting. Mostly had heard he would be eligible and play at the end of the first semester in December. I doubt he redshirts, unless he asks to be redshirted.

If Semi leaves I wouldn't be shocked to see Jarrey play some small ball 4(like KU did with ...

Re: Semi Testing the NBA Waters (Did not hire agent)

I know they were talking about redshirting Jahmal McMurray with Jimmy Whitt and Shake being in the backcourt. But if Semi Leaves, you would have to assume that this changes things....

I mean, wouldn't we be talking playing Fricken Jarrey some at the 4 haha?

Guard Heavy... Shake, Gu, Whitt ...

Re: So who's doing the 30-for-30 on SMU basketball, 2014-201

But its shouldn't be one or the other. If we have that great a program we should have at least one NCAA tournament win to show for it. And long term is no guarantee at all - things can change fast. Just ask UConn.
Stability hinges on the fans. If we can keep people in the seats, we are going to ...

Re: CALLING ALL STUDENTS>>>>

All of you must be miserable in real life. Please keep finding nits to pick in what has been a good season. Last game was our first one back with the students and it filled in by midway first half against a team no one (students, alums, people of Dallas) care about.

It is not knit picking, it is ...

Re: CALLING ALL STUDENTS>>>>

Just a suggestion to the person in charge of getting students to the games.
First come first serve at the gates. Stop this mob stuff and getting tickets in the AM or days in advance. Student section doesn't fill up until midway through the 1st half.

Re: Harry Froling transferring

except for Janks nine game win streak last year - we don't really know how he is with a post, since he has never had one. Semi is close, but frankly better than a post, and Harry thought he was Dirk.

I think it is natural for a fan base that knows a bit about basketball to be disappointed for the ...

this post read like it was written by 2 different people...did Forrest Gump finish Jenn-nay's post?[/quote]

Simply put, the kid was out of shape and had unrealistic expectations. But there is plenty of blame to go around. Sarcastically cheering when the kid gets a rebound doesn't put any confidence ...

Re: Harry Froling transferring

Regardless of what y'all say. Harry had great potential. Saw him work in the post a few times, had the footwork and definitely had the size. Also was impressed with his shot. There is some blame to go all around - run a pick and pop for him more often. Get him that jumper he looks for, post him up ...
