Re: Twitter

I fully recognize that ponyfans is a public forum. Pretty sure that most people understand where I am coming from. No need for me to address this topic any further.

Twitter

Webmaster please talk to the posters. No one should be copying and pasting people's posts from ponyfans and making posts on Twitter. It does not make sense. If I wanted to make a post on Twitter then that is what I would have done. I chose to post on ponyfans. If people cannot keep to that then ...

Re: SMU vs. Connecticut game thread

If anyone disagrees with you then I must be related to Jank. Last week I am accused of being Jank's wife. Today I am accused of being Jank's son. Give me a break. Get over yourself. I am an SMU Alum who has had multiple family members graduate from SMU. Recognize that I support our Coach and I ...

Re: Feron Hunt

So now people are saying that Feron Hunt is one of our best SMU Freshmen over the past few years. Ok. I thought just recently people were saying that Jank cannot recruit? Ok. Who recruited Feron Hunt anyways? That's right, Jank.

Not sure that I would put Feron above Sterling, Ben, or Shake, but we ...

Re: SMU vs. Connecticut game thread

Congrats to our guys for putting it together last night. Our guys played well together. We moved the ball well on offennse, shot the ball well, took the ball to the hole instead of settling for the 3, and rebounded the ball well. Seeing Feron get some more touches on offense was really good to see ...

Re: Gameday

People seem to have such a short-term memory. Jank was responsible for recruiting Nic Moore and subsequently bringing Nic to SMU.
And SMU is very thankful for that. But, Nic graduated 2 years ago. Who else has he brought on board? Serious question.

Everyone seems to forget that Jank was on LB's ...

Re: Gameday

I would hardly consider myself a Jank sympathizer, and I also do not believe jank was handed keys to a Bugatti. LB is a legend and nobody will disagree with that, but I don't think he built a program for SMU that was sustainable. 2 solid freshman recruits to build a team around for the future in ...

Re: Gameday

So, a couple of things here...

3) For being a players coach, as Jank is, he sure has a lot of players leave early. Transfers are all normal. But if Semi stuck around one more year, he could have been lottery. Shake didn't play the second half of the season, even after being cleared medically, and ...

East Coast Mustang... Got to love your first grade comments. Keep it classy. More than happy to listen to your basketball take if you have one.
OK, here ya go: Jank is an average in-game coach and a lazy, terrible recruiter. Go look at our c/o 2019 commits and tell me if thatΓÇÖs a class that can ...

Re: Gameday

I am sure the same 6 posters will continue to blame Jank for tonight's loss. That never gets old.

Our guys actually played good tonight until about the 3 minute mark. We moved the ball well for the better part of the game. It was a tie game with 3 minutes to go.

As much as I appreciate McMurray's ...

Re: Gameday

Tie game at Temple. I will take it! Pony up!

Who is coaching tonight? Oh, that is right... Coach Jank. The same coach that coached our team to a school record 30-5 (W-L) with 6 players only a few seasons ago. The same coach that stepped up and won the first 10 games a season before that when LB was ...

Re: Silver Linings

Not sure why people call injuries, a short bench, and recruiting sanctions "excuses". This will never make since to me. People act like SMU should be ranked regardless. Name another program that has been hit with similar injuries and recruiting sanctions over the past few years. No one can because ...

Re: Cinci game

The thing to realize as we go through this - it is a really down year for the conference.

The American is actually a stronger conference top to bottom this season. Not sure that I agree with your comment "it is a really down year for the conferrence". No disrespect intended, I agree with a number ...
