Rhett desperately needs another coach on this staff that has former D-1 head coaching experience to serve as Associate Head Coach to be a helpful voice in his ear. Some of his coaching decisions (play calling in general, reckless 4th down attempts, and bad timeouts) are killing this team

New fans for next year
It appears that the Briles hire at TCU has rubbed a lot of their fans the wrong way. I have has some of them as me about getting SMU season tickets next year. It might be a good time for our marketing dept. to put up a few billboards in Fort Worth.

Re: National Championship
TCU. If they can do it, there is no reason/excuse that SMU canΓÇÖt.
I donΓÇÖt think TCU stole Dykes. He chose to leave.

Re: Referees, Dykes not alone
Baylor should have been given the DP. Briles should never be allowed to step foot on a college campus again. He knew he was recruiting rapists, thugs, and knuckleheads, but as long as they helped him win, he didnΓÇÖt care.

What about me?

Just kidding, Hubba took over and carried the ball for me and I appreciate it.

Re: Kickoff snafu
Hubba, you are 100% correct in everything you have posted. But, it seems like neither one of us can convince them that is was an incorrect call on the field that could have been easily corrected by the replay official, even though we both posted the rule from the rule book. SMH

Re: Kickoff snafu
Guys, it does not have to land in the end zone. It can bounce in there. Even if it was touched by the kicking team prior to that, as long as it isnΓÇÖt touched by the receiving team, the ball is NOT live, and should be ruled a Touchback. It is only live if it doesnΓÇÖt reach the end zone. Read the ...

Re: Kickoff snafu
No, it wasnΓÇÖt a touchback. Just a terrible play by our guys.
It should have been a touchback. I looked up the rule in the NCAA rule book:
On page FR65
When a free kick untouched by Team B ( receiving team ) touches the ground on or behind Team BΓÇÖs end zone, the ball becomes dead and belongs to ...

Re: Officiating
A college official friend of mine told me the crew on the field and replay missed the call on the Tulsa kickoff going into the end zone for a touchdown. He said that an untouched kick by the receiving team that goes into the end zone should have been a touchback even if it was touched legally by the ...

Re: Other Games
Love to know the apparent TCU alum wearing a suit who almost cost TCU a win when that TCU DB looked to have a certain Pick-6 in Overtime. The TCU DB should have easily scored but slowed down dancing around instead of heading straight to the endzone and embarrassingly allowed an Offensive Tackle-No ...
