Based on Billy's article, Lanier has an impressive coaching resume, including being a strong recruiter on Barnes' staff at both Texas and Tennessee. Appears to be a solid hire. Let's go!!

I was hoping the Mavs would sign Sterling last year instead of Wes Iwundu. Better late than never! I think he'll be a great fit on this team. Excited to see him play in person again night in and night out.

I know the Mavs had no intent of keeping Shake when they drafted him for Philly, but it's crazy to think today that the 2018 draft could've netted them Luka, Brunson AND Shake.
I will happily admit that I was very wrong about his potential as a pro.
