Karen Aston was apparently in the final two of the UH WBB coaching search. The Coogs went with Matt Mitchell who was a prolific coach at Kentucky before suffering a severe head injury while on vacation and taking 4-5 years off. Mitchell will make ~$600K. Aston currently makes $400K at UTSA ...

....and their coach is headed to the country roads of WVU. Ex-UNT AD is at WVU.

Maybe UNT didn't anticipate OK State beating SMU?

Yep quite fun in person with only 3100 in registered attendance. UNT had 2660 in their win over A-State. It wouldΓÇÖve been nice to have hosted UNT in another game. Missed Boopie but Oquendo really stepped up. The team played hard.

More fans, especially students, can attend this weekend.

Nice W and now get to host OK State on Saturday or Sunday.

A game vs OK State would be a fun litmus test.

South Carolina and LSU both declined invitations to the NIT. I guess extra practice and playing time doesn't matter that much to some programs.

The football playoff and NCAAs still seem to be important. Maybe some NIL will require it if healthy?

IΓÇÖd guess 75-80% Duke fans tonight and 10-15% LVille. My wife attended the SMU vs Clemson game and said Clemson had a showing almost as good as DukeΓÇÖs. Last night mustΓÇÖve been crazy.

Going to Charlotte on Friday but looks like I won't get to see any Pony hoops. Was hoping for a game vs. Duke that night but hopefully we win two to get there. My wife arrives on Thursday so maybe she can see SMU vs. Clemson. Fingers crossed.
