FYI. Memphis has a couple crazy plays where they lateral to the far side with what looks like a screen pass and then either throw a pass straight downfield, back across the field or take off running. They scored once on one of those plays and got deep in the red zone off another. They also scored 7 ...

Look I fully understand that if your school elects to handicap athletics that it makes sense to schedule schools who follow a similar ideal (Stanford, Duke, Vandy, the academies all leap immediately to mind).

However your institution has elected to align with institutions more similar to ASU ...

I totally agree. I thought it was really stupid when Copeland, sorry... I mean Copeland, scheduled this game in the first place and we had to go to Jonesboro, Ark. for game 2. It is a no win situation. I mean, with our own attendence problems, how do we benefit going up there and playing before one ...

The juice smells like vinegar.

The initial intent of ASU was to play this game in Little Rock but our administration found nominal sponsorship interest for the game there.

ASU's academic standards are no lower than 8 of your conference mates. If you are going to marry trash you think is below ...

My two cents, take it or leave it.

I don't think SMU was unprepared in game prep sense. I think the lack of prep was months ago in the weight room and conditioning.

When you had the rally going ASU just dared you stop the run and lost that battle then when you got enough hosses in to stop the ...

I just can tell you I heard the coaches say on the Thursday before the game that they did not expect SMU to use the spread look very much before that game.

This has always amazed me and given me cause to worry about Roberts. I personally think he is a very good coach, but we had run the spread ...

Stallion's point is that the playing field is not level when some schools because of their academic prowess, must reject players who get admitted to schools like Troy, Marshall and ASU. That has been one of Stallion's arguments for some time. I would add that given OSU's history of admitting such ...

If schools want to look down on others for taking non-qualifiers they need to go to blind admission for athletes and only admit the kids that meet the same standards as the general student body or just use the NCAA standard. If you choose to use a higher standard that's an institutional decision but ...

I don't know. Giving up a head coach job for an assistant job requires setting aside ego.

I don't buy that "you surprised us" crap. Why would we revert to the offense that scored a whoppin' 9 points in 2 games as opposed to one that scored 45 in one game? What happened to in-game adjustments? We essentially had an all-freshman offense (QB, mutliple receivers, etc.), so I'm thinking ...

I thought Troy was fun to watch at their place last year when they lost to ASU to make it three losses in a row to the Tribe.

FYI the corner Toney can move, he's our primary kick-off return man.
