I just went to the ticket site to check this out. I put 9 as the quantity, then searched for "best available". It gave me 9 seats together in Section 224, which is right on the 50-yard line.

So I have to wonder about that two-thirds figure- why would there still be so many seats available right on ...

Word on the froggy boards is that they're expecting a big turnout (parent's weekend) and the Star-Telegram said this morning to buy tickets in advance/get there early because they expect long lines at the box office/will-call.

I recently became a fan of DCTF on facebook. They sent out an update the other day that said this year's cover was going to be one of the most unique they'd ever had.

An SMU cover would be a longshot, I know. But it would be unique...

I don't think it's being moved because of "a little rain" - I think it's the logistics of having police hired as security, fans travelling to & from FW for the game, and a visiting team that has to get back to California.
