If Kate H. of the DMN is accurate, it looks like this season is in doubt for Bell.

Derrius, for the record, thank you for being the kind of player that fans want.
Now, you need to rest your body and focus on school. For the record, no win, no season, no fan is worth risking your health and/or your life. As if you need someone like me to say it, but just so you know. And no coach nor teammate who really cares about you wants you to place yourself at risk.

Dude...seriously...REST. Come back in the spring...go to school. Be a typical college student.

So...to Derrius Bell...you the man. Get well and stay well.

Looks like the medical staff is taking the right course. Be well. Head injuries are way too serious. The word minor should never be associated with a head injury.

BTW, our white road uniforms are pretty cool.

Best wishes for DBell. You coaches out there need to step up and protect these young men. We like football because of it's physical nature but your teaching these guys to use their bodies as projectiles to inflict hurt on offensive players is criminal. Yea, you say to not lead with your helment but the helmet is on the head which is attached to the body which you teach to go through the offensive player. Most often, it is the defender instead of the offensive player who suffers the more serious injury. Please come with better rules and teaching to protect these guys. They are our sons, brothers, uncles and we care about them. DO YOU?
