All this bowl talk is making me a bit nervous! We've been 6-6 before. There is a possibility that we lose out...and then what...we are back at 6-6 again.

Wouldn't it be something if we were then relegated to the mercy of bowl selection committees because we failed to earn an automatic bowl birth ...

June Jones' first order of business is to win and go to the C-USA championship. I can't believe he seems to think that he would be the story that ESPN would cover instead of the story being about SMU going to it's first bowl in over two decades. His priorities are out of order!!!

We sold about 8300 last year. Current renewals are around 6600, with more in the pipeline.

If we get most of the renewals plus the 2500, we'd be over 10K season tickets.

Unfortunately with this economy, SMU has fallen off a lot of people's radar screens. I know for me personally, SMU football and basketball is not a priority for me any more. SMU has had it's chance to 'come back' time and time again but they could never capitalize.

SMU might have changed the definition of "sell-out" over the summer. If that's the case, SMU may be in for quite a few sell outs this fall.
