It's okay to move on at some point, guys. It really is. You have permission to not worry about someone who left the program.

We had to sit out, pretty much sums up SMU athletics. First, we self report, then we limp wrist our defense, then we don't appeal, then we can't find a way to extend a HOF coach. We are not victims, we are only volunteers. We deserve everything we get.

We will have plenty of talent next year to compete and will have enough depth to run 9 guys out there who can hold their own. I think that will be true no matter what happens with Akoy or the freshmen. Let's not give up on next year at least until we see who we can bring in on the transfer market ...
