Chris Harris
Look for Harris to reopen his recruitment with Kennedy getting fired. Maybe Jank gets lucky

Re: Kaden Archie
What I'm saying is SMU is Liddell's #1 choice. I have no idea what Jank is thinking either.
You are talking about a player that is the same size as Hunt, but much more versatile.
Jasey & Liddell for Douglas & Ray would be a huge upgrade in talent, even if they are sitting out a year.

Re: Kaden Archie
IΓÇÖd rather have Gerald Liddell whoΓÇÖs @ UT right now. Better all around player than Archie. SMU will be his top choice when he leaves. A lot of competition for him, but it should be a layup for Jank, this is where he wants to be.

Re: 2nd Recruit on Board for 2019
I'm curious to see how this plays out. There will be a huge # of transfers next season just like there is every season, so I really don't have a problem with the staff leaving a spot or two open if that's the plan. Just check out verbalcommits.com. It will be surprising if SMU doesn't get a couple ...

Re: OOC 2018
We had a chance to watch TCU practice a couple of weeks ago @ their team camp. Dixon ran a great camp, & their team was very impressive. They are loaded, & this will be an L for SMU.
It looks like TCU hit a home run with Dixon, doing for hoops what Patterson did for football. Hiring Cross from UTA ...

One local possible transfer that is still out there is Djery Baptiste. Transferred from Vanderbilt.

Re: Maxey tracker
Jankovich needs to hire former SMU baller Rod Hampton. He wanted the job when it was given to Maxey. He told me he was hurt & disappointed his school didnΓÇÖt offer him.

Some pretty interesting names, especially @ WR & DL. Also, saw 1 dude from Cali that played for Dykes.

Re: Foster
I always thought it remarkable that Foster played as a freshman given his HS injury. I hope he recovers and plays more ball whether for us this year or next and maybe after that. Even more I hope that he is able to walk, move about, live without discomfort after he shoots his last basket.

[quote="ponyte"]I don't for a second balme the palyers. It wasn't the players that studied Tech and develped a game plan. It wasn't the players that had their coach abandon them right before this bowl game.

Re: Silver Linings
Best thing to come out of it IMO is that Dykes got to see how the returning players reacted to things not going their way (adversity), & that's huge.
For example, was Hicks over on the sideline crying & blaming the other players, or was he positive, accepting the blame like a real leader should ...

Re: Feron Hunt makes a big jump in 247 composite rankings
From the Dallas Morning News:
To be fair, DeSoto hasn't exactly been at full strength either. The Eagles' rim protector, 6-foot-9 SMU commit Jahmar Young, has missed time recently with an ankle injury. And his post partner, fellow SMU commit Feron Hunt (DeSoto's most valuable offensive player at ...
