How is the ticket office set up? From the directory, it looks like the sales staff is different from the ticket office? Does the ticket office not take orders? Does the sales staff do outbound sales and the ticket office only take inbound calls?

has anyone thought of the scheduling of the Big 12 in 2012? If that conference goes to a 9 game conference schedule, they will lose a NC game, and i'm sure we are the cheapest contract to get out of. just a thought...

sorry for thinking the game was in dallas. doubt many of you would have been there anyway, as every game is sold out.

maybe with more revenue, SMU would be able to get on an FM station, then you could listen to it there after the game was sold out.

you tell me where the student section is. is it across from the benches facing the camera? is it behind the benches with their backs to the camera? it's not like Moody where the older fans are sitting down across from the bench. the cameras are facing the benches, with the students behind them ...

you talk to Duke. find out where the cameras are and then we can have a conversation about this.

you can't move the team benches because the cameras don't want the back of the team. they want the shot of the coach and players fronts.

i always thought the cameras were facing the bleachers where the students currently sit? i heard from someone during football that students can't be directly behind the visitors bench? that's why there is a break in that area behind the visitors on the pull-out bleachers.

it's not that they don't care, but when you only have one strong team in the conference, Memphis, you can't accommodate everyone and have Memphis only play road games on Saturday so the other schools can have more people available to come see them play. Memphis has fans too that also have jobs and ...

the conference works hard at making schedules. don't really think that after all that hard work they want to make changes just so a particular school can have a game by themselves.

i don't think the conference really cares about when the pro team plays as compared to the collegiate team. besides, isn't this another cop out for smu fans in the whole "the ncaa hates us" attitude? for the most part smu has fair weather fans and will never attend games until the team starts ...

so by submitting a request, the conference is just going to change the date? highly unlikely, considering they don't share the same facility, unlike your Memphis example.

i don't think SMU schedules conference games. CUSA usually does that for them. so they have no control over if they are playing the same night as the Mavs.

I know some of the people that work there, and not everything that is said behind false names is true. Concessions is run by an outside company, basically whoever gives them the most money to run concessions. And those people that provide the food hire out community groups, a la HS kids or others ...
