And how has that worked in Austin?
Mac must use the Rivals site to sort through his recruiting priorities. Always at or near the top on the recruiting rankings per their editors, but somehow they just never pan out.
"My son always dreamt of playing for the Longhorns, he was even willing to go as ...

Re: Current Players (Sr.) with Legit shot at NFL
The thing that JG, Reed and ZL have going for them is that they all excel at special teams, which is rare for the star of a college squad, and may help all of them find roster spots. If there's one thing to appreciate about June, he puts the NFL-caliber guys in good positions to succeed at the next ...

so he wants us to plug his book by putting him in a game? No need to do that.
Look if others want to wallow in this fine, but 95% of our university has moved on. Enough already. Lets live in the present.
I can already see the NCAA enforcement office gearing up to sanction him and the school ...

Re: An outsiders observation of our fans
Who among you was not nervous when Houston scored to cut the lead to 17 with almost the entire 4th quarter left to play? Who among you did not think "Doing what we do," as opposed to running the ball and using the clock, threatened to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory? After several plays with ...

Re: Temporary Stands
How was SMU supposed to know that the Aggies would have such poor fan support? I mean to have 50,000 students every year or is it 150,000 if you include BlinnAGS going back a few decades you should have millions of former ag students with several hundred thousand in the north Texas area alone. If ...

- Our team graduates its 5 best players at the end of this season
- Recruiting results do not appear to be coming in at a Big East level, and arguably average or worse by even CUSA standards
This is what's really scary about how bad we've looked. Imagine this team next year without DJ, Reed, J ...
Re: Rick Hart
Too many people that really know football are complementary of June's coaching ability for me to write him off as a coach. I agree with Johnny and the today's DMN article that lack of talent is the major difference between us and Baylor and TAM. The reason I have suggested June retire or be fired ...

Hampton was a stud TE for us. He bleeds red and blue.
When he says stuff like that, it means that he ripped A&M earlier in the game and felt the need to apologize because he went over the top.
This. If anything, Rich and John are big homers for us, and they do a great job promoting our program ...

Re: Thoughts on the state of the team...
On several plays I timed how long GG held the ball. It was almost 4.5 secs. all three times. Then, finally the line would break down. You can only block somebody so long. I suspect the issue is that the WR's just weren't getting open or else GG was only targeting certain ones.

Re: Defensive Tactics
It looked like they just ran out of gas. We did a good job against their running game, and stayed disciplined containing Manziel most of the first half when he didn't have anywhere to throw. The first TD was that familiar problem adjusting to the no-huddle. They got a couple first downs and we weren ...

Didn't that also happen several times at Baylor? I don't remember this either in the past under Mason, so not sure if it's about our lack of secondary depth or OC's are adjusting to our scheme.

Well, that's demonstrably false, but who cares. Early and loud is the important part.
