Temporary Stands
So the temporary stands for the Aggies werent really necessary... I heard we had around 32,000 people in there which is capacity.
Are they going to leave these stands up for TCU or are they going to take them down?

Re: Temporary Stands
With the way we have played they should take them down. Then when the regular stands are close to full it will look better.

Re: Temporary Stands
I say pay the cancellation fee and let the stadium get full it's looks better that way rather than crappy temp stands.

Re: Temporary Stands
you get to pay a little extra for that non-view of the scoreboard; a shame when there are so may empty seats in the north end zone

Re: Temporary Stands
Ticketmaster isn't showing the temp. stands as an option for the TCU game. Not sure whether it's because they're waiting for permanent seats to fill up before making a decision or because they've already decided to scrap them, but as of now it shows general admin./standing room for the entire grassy area.

We have a Temporary team...who cares about the bleachers?

Re: Temporary Stands
never really understood why they erected those bleachers to begin with, although all the pre-game hype was that we expected a crowd of 40k (lots of walk-up Aggies, presumably). For "atmoshphere" purposes, I would much prefer opening the south endzone grassy slope to "standing room only". Just make sure we don't do any fireworks

They were still up as of noon

Re: Temporary Stands
Just drove by and it looks like they are coming down. The ones furthest west looked like they had no seats or floor, just the frame left.

Re: Temporary Stands
Worth a try? We hired a professional firm to take over our ticket sales, they aren't supposed to blow calls like that...and when they do, we shouldn't be "E for effort". A) Sell it out or B) Don't make us purchase the stands.
