I'm fine. I had very little in the way of expectations for this game and the season. I figured SMU would lose tonight by 17-21 points. In fact, I think my prediction was 40-21. I thought the best SMU could do this year was 4-8.

Excellent prediction by the original poster. Isn't he the guy that was trashing Baylor last night. This is far, far, far more embarassing that BU losing to Wake.

It has nothing to do with coaching.

The team with the better players wins the great majority of games. SMU's defense is pitiful -- DL is being pushed around, LBs are midgets and the secondary looks slow and small. OL is terrible as well.

This isn't Texas or Oklahoma or Texas A&M pushing SMU ...

Rice has bigger, better athletes.

I have a hard time believing that SMU, in its first game with the Run-n-Shoot and with a true freshman under center, is gonna come out firing on all cylinders tonight on offense.

Thinking that it won't be until year two at a minimum for a bowl. Thinking 4-8 this year. Hope I am wrong but SMU is really deficient at several segments this year.

Got off to a 2-0 start last night by giving the points with both South Carolina and Wake Forest.
