Re: Padron STRUGGLING
Only 3 returned for TD's?? Probably would have been more.
Btw, who pulls out the starter in the second half of the last game of the regular season that determines whether they play for the Conference Championship...this isn't a video game people you just don't do that.

Re: I'm glad we won, but...
In my 5 short years watching the team, its been awesome to see them evolve from looking like a high school team at times to being a legit contender for the conference. The D makes tackles and big plays, JG's a beast, same with Sterling Moore (how often do teams even throw on his side??), the offense ...

That same Baylor letter hoax was spread around at SMU last year almost word for word.

Re: BLM today (if you're wondering)
All coaches make mistakes on high school QB's (and every other position) at some point in their career.
Re: 16,612
Why don't they sell general admission tickets? $30 for sideline seats, $18 for endzone seats? Nobody in the stadium checks, at least on the East side (for obvious reasons). Do they check on the West side? I just graduated so I got the cheapest ticket and went straight to the student section.

Re: Being a Fan - Advice Please
I suppose its mostly older people; at USC games it was the same way on the alumni side at USC games. Older people complain about standing because it takes a lot to stand for nearly 4 hours, but I understand. Still makes it frustrating when you want to stand. Student Section was standing the whole ...

Re: McNeal GOING PRO
Which is EXACTLY what I posted on my first post in this thread. The point which flys over your head is that he didn't take his academic requirements seriously at Miami, during the summer before admission to SMU or during his "6 month academic career" at SMU. He slid into SMU through the backdoor ...

Re: RBs for 2010..
Shawnbrey did play special teams...he alternated returning kicks with McCann and Butler. I know a couple of friends on the team said they were disappointed Butler didn't get the ball much this year because he's waited so patiently to play and his talent was worthy of playing time. But McNeal came in ...

Re: ESPN: Former SMU Assistant Named Tennessee Coach
Smu now new cradle of coaches with both Turner Gill and Dooley
m
Hardly the new cradle of coaches. There is a small school in Ohio called Miami that is the cradle of coaches. Until we have coaches like Paul Brown, Wes Fesler, Woody Hayes, Bo Schembecler, Ara P., Johnny Pont, et al. we can not ...

Re: McNeal please stay....
Believe me I want him to stay too (he was the difference maker this year on offense -- OK the team attitude was the difference this year...but no doubt he saved us this year when DeMyron would have choked). But judging by his family situation (an ill mother and 2 of his own kids) and the fact that ...

Re: Too Early?
Exactly, DE is Frazier's natural position. His height and weight doesn't really matter....if thats the case then theoretically he could put on 20 lbs. and move to OL flawlessly (or lose weight and play another position)....in the 3-4 the NT has a completely different job from the DE's. Not that I'm ...

Re: Too Early?
Wilkerson is gonna start at WR next year....and Frazier doesn't play NT unless its an emergency situation...it's not his natural position...Pittman will probably take over, he rotated with Parham whenever he got tired. Parham told me Pitt goes in on a lot of passing downs because he has great pass ...
