Re: Burger wars, re-visited

Friend came into town and wanted to hit the Old Monk.

Anyone else ever try the Monk Burger? Wow. Fantastic. They top it with caramelized onions, bacon and something they call "Welsh rarebit" (a blend of cheddar, ale, spices and worcestershire, according to their menu), and it is unreal.

Messy as ...

Re: Burger wars, re-visited

First of all, if you ever find yourself in Westminster, Texas, you're lost. Turn around and go back the way you came. You'll have to go a long way, because it's not near anything. Manny's...Tupinamba...Gloria's All good choices, especially Gloria's.

My favorite: Cuquita's (on Henderson east of 75 or in Richardson, at Coit and ... Spring Valley, I think). Both places are small, hole-in-the-wall places, so you have to really look for them, but well worth it, especially for ...

Made a repeat appearance at Snookie's and tried the kobe beef burger. Very impressive — not as juicy as the regular burger, but the pure flavor is exceptional. Very good stuff.

So where in the hell have you been?
I've been out eating burgers. Lots of burgers. I've also noticed that you're scared to show up and show off your inadequate burger analysis skills.

And that is not the Official burger rankings.
Uh, yes they are. didn't you read this part?

Read a nice article last year about Terrance Newman, in which he had equally flattering things to say about Coach Bennett. Credited Bennett with turning him from an athlete into a football player.

If we pull that off, it will be a real coup. Knight might be long in the tooth, but he's still Bobby Knight. Hope Coach Dirty can pull it off.
