I agree with GTH, it's like we bounce back after the bad games also (see Pitt after Duke). Makes me feel like our performance will be much better this game.

Years ago there was a school of thought that if, say, Tulsa (lot of blue) came to town, and our fans wore blue, then photos of our fans would have a sea of blue behind them, making it appear as if the place was packed with our fans.

Why are we not "encouraged" to wear red for schools that have their colors as blue (Pitt and Cal are blue, but TCU is closer to blue than red)? These should be "wear red" games. I've never liked the phrase that we've had to "buy our way in," I feel like it's the opposite. Instead of having to suckle on the teat of the conference welfare system, we stood up and said we can pay our own way, not be subsidized by others. And yes, we still come out ahead of our income last year ...
