I have talked to a few folks, and the initial feedback has been pretty positive. Not many of us can take extended lunches (esp. Mondays) and this might allow more to attend with the happy hour/dinner angle. It will be interesting to see, but I think it will be fun.

Got the same call. I actually increased my donation - spoke to a women's golfer and impressed me relative to how truly appreciative they are. Nice reminder of why this board and so many other things exist - the STUDENT-ATHLETE.

Talked to Tim M. this morning - he was as surprised as I was. SMU has no other access to tickets. TCU changed their ticket office voicemail and online information some time this weekend. Call 817-257-3764. The voicemail says it all. Now we really need to beat these guys!!!!

My wife asked that. From what our caller explained (female), it was a volunteer effort from their student athlete council. She's on the council and the administration (new Mustang Club leadership) had approached them with the idea. The s-a's picked the dates as an hour break from finals prep.

Got a call from a student-athlete tonight just thanking us for supporting the Mustang Club and saying happy holidays. Wife loved it...what a great thing for those kids to be doing.
