Re: Ponies to the NFL?
I think you could be SO far ahead of yourself on so many matters that it's starting to cloud your common sense. Look at past recruiting classes and the praise everyone on this board is guilty of providing. The last quality class we had was the 1999 recruiting class and while alot of their ...

Re: X's, O's and QBs
Page graduated with a 3.8 in a very difficult field and did secure a job with one of the top accounting firms in the U.S, the same firm now paying for his MBA at the University of Virginia, so at least structure your post on some more firm points. But Bartel and Wallis, do give us four more good ...

Re: X's, O's and QBs
That could be one of the best posts of this year. Surely for a long time. But more than anything about this circus at QB, Cavan got into an awful habit of declaring one guy his starter, and knowing his own job was on the line, forced each incoming freshman to compete for the job, when in essence ...

Re: QB question
This board could use some clarification. Bartel is playing rookie ball and needs to get to Dallas quickly if he wants any chance to play QB next year. Tate Wallis works hard everyday and shows some natural leadership savvy, but he is the kind of player that needs to make almost zero mistakes-like he ...

Re: Who will be this year's surprise player? And why?
Contrary to people believing our large right tackle resembles the blonde pop artist with a mangled grill, "Jewel" was given by teammates in the summer of 1999 when Dave Campbell's Texas Football Magazine labeled Sterling the jewel of the incoming freshman class.

Re: Burger wars, re-visited
Don't know if I'm a little late on this one, but Jakes on Skillman is fabulous. For my dining opinion, a burger is as good as the fries and drink, and Jakes serves great fries and the beer is at market price. You can even buy 6-packs and 12-packs at a time. Their non-alcoholic beverages, for those ...

Re: WAC opponents get ugly new uniforms...
Can't we all take a page from SMU's lovely student body and just wear New Balances? Next year, I vote the SMU football team where Riddell. I'm sure Doak Walker and his teammates wore them and I know some current members of the team would love to sport them as well.
Re: McCown
Good luck Josh. It wasn't completely his fault he had an offensive coordinator and head coach whose sole intentions were to save their own butts every time they went on the field. It was evident Josh was a great quarterback and people would have enjoyed him here had he gotten the chance to play in ...

Re: WAC opponents get ugly new uniforms...
I am all for SJSU shunning the mass-producing behemoths, and the only real complain I have about their uniforms is the choice of black socks with home uniforms. You can use the same woman who designs high shool uniforms, but do submit to the total high-school look of solid black socks. That was ...

Re: Tight Ends in the New Offense
I gathered some very good information from Bennett in regarding the new offense, and frankly, he wants to win with what he has here, next year, and the most important point he alluded to was his overall knowledge of what beats defenses.

Re: Ponies in the NFL
I don't mean to bring up old news, but I have to agree with the other BoazHoaz bashers and give my two cents. The fact that you admit to currently residing in Boaz Hall(a freshman dorm) but seemingly know former students from the years of 96-2000 is kind of odd. You may be an RA, but your affliction ...
