Re: Season Prview

I think the Ponies have a good chance of going to a bowl this year. Coach Bennett has proven he knows how to coach a good defense, and a good defense will keep you in almost every game.

Re: TCU's Froghorn

You are exactly right JustAFriend, as long as you ingnore all of the facts. The facts are he didn't have any marijuana, and all of the charges were dropped.

Anyways, everybody knows TCU has never had any off the field problems...

Re: TCU's Froghorn

You are right, he does have that cloud over his head about the big game. Even though I am wearing burnt orange tinted glasses, I still think he is going to have a great year and be considered one of the best quarterbacks in the nation.
A great running game is a quarterback's best friend, so all he ...

Re: TCU's Froghorn

Good post BigCat, for the most part I agree with you. In retrospect, a redshirt freshman year would have been great for Simms. It would have given him more time to adjust to the college game, and he could have worked on some of his flaws. He has even admitted it himself, and encouraged incoming QB ...

SMU Baseball?

Hello, I had a question about the baseball team. Why isn't there a baseball team?

I am new to Mustang athletics, and I understand there used to be a team, but when did it shut down and why? It seems to me there are plenty of good recruits in the DFW area, and under the right circumstances, a ...

Good article on Coach Bennett

This is a good article about the personal life of Coach Bennett. He seems to be a good guy who has been through a lot.

Re: Uniforms

Don't feel bad, I had to have somebody show me how to post pictures too. Here is what you need to do:

1)Find an image. Then "right click" on that image. It will bring up a gray box. Go down and click on "Properties".
2)This will bring up another gray box. Go down to "Address: (URL)". This is the ...

TCU's Froghorn

Hello everybody. Great website! I have just recently found it, and it has been very informative regarding SMU athletics.

Anyways, I was wondering what everybody thinks about TCU's froghorn. I've always thought it was one of the ugliest creations of mankind. Not only is it an eye-sore, but it ...

Re: Uniforms

At first I didn't think they should change Southern Cal's uniforms because they were one of the best in the country. But in 2002, they are going to unvail a "throw-back" version of their uniforms of the 60's and 70's.
