Clemson is known as Death Valley. So, I guess having tombstones of its victims sort of makes sense.

The average height has to be 6'5" and weight 300 lbs+! Not bad for underclassmen and incoming freshmen.

Obviously, Notre Dame has benefited from its independence, national Catholic following, and TV deal. And their overall history - All Americans, titles, HOF members, and draft picks was ahead of SMU even before the DP. Had the DP never happened, SMU would likely be much closer in those categories ...

Very few power conference schools. SMU should be VERY competitive against this field.

As I mentioned elsewhere, this game was needlessly close. We had the ball on their 1 and 4 and got no points. Even one field goal and we win without any stress. Score twice and we cruise to win #7. Duke's front 7 played quite well at times - although facemask could have been called several more ...

They looked pretty good in the Syracuse game - which admittedly was the only game I have watched.

We have the talent to win. Play aggressive defense, and score at every opportunity. I also expect a special teams TD - its just time.

Excellent. I see them much like TCU. They have the athletes to win. But there is just something that is not quite right. In TCUs case, I think its largely Dykes. For FSU, I think last year did something to their confidence. And of course everything stated above.
