There is no science that says schools should remain closed. In fact, science says just the opposite.

The vast majority of objective scientists have acknowledged that learning at home and online will present challenges to many families, but that it is far safer than going to schools. If a kid gets sick, does the whole class get sent home for quarantine? Will the teachers be paid during quarantine (you know, while shelling out their own money for school supplies for students at under-funded schools)? What happens when a quarantined student, even if asymptomatic, transmits it to an older family member? There is no sound science to support attending schools in person.
