As for the 2-deep at PK: Wolcott has tremendous mechanics - he's able to repeat the exact same swing just about every time, like you want to do with a golf club. But his leg isn't as strong as McMurtray's, and he doesn't get the ball up as fast. And it doesn't matter how the backups look -- McMurtray is the man until he graduates.

Here again, our issue is offensive scoring, not Special Teams.
But, since you & Mr Mustang brought it up, the "K" Wolcott was going to walk-on at Tech-- never offered a TT scholarship.
Yes, McMurtray is the leading kicker.
