DAMMIT.
I know he muffed a couple of punts in the opener, but Shanahan never threw him back in to give him a chance to redeem himself.
Good thing Shanahan has never made a mistake (right, Maurice Clarrett?)
I really shouldn't drink and type.

this looks pretty accurate, as multiple sources are reporting it, even though the redskins haven't released their official list yet.
I'm still hoping they see enough potential talent in him to kick him to the practice squad.

Ha! Forgot about that stroke of genius. He hasn't done much right since Elway retired.

t appears that the Redskins have indicated they would like rookies Maurice Hurt and Aldrick Robinson to land on their practice squad, after they are able to clear the waiver wire. In that case, the team will still have six available spots to fill http://dc.sbnation.com/washington-redsk ... tice-squad

Pretty decent minimum salary. I thought it was much less. Hopefully he will clear waivers and be ready when is is called upon. Or is that $5,700/week the total for all 8 players combined?

I would think he would be able to get on a real squad somewhere. The Redskins management is just as bad as the Cowboys - have no clue what they are doing. Watch McNabb light it up in Minn.

Found my answer. It is $5,700 per player for 17 weeks. ($96,900/year). Not bad and keeps him in play. I do agree it would be better to latch on with an active roster position but this would be better than going home.
