hopefully, he can catch on somewhere.......or, maybe make the practice squad. I believe you have to clear waivers before being added to the practice squad, so perhaps that might be in the plans.

Pretty decent minimum salary. I thought it was much less. Hopefully he will clear waivers and be ready when is is called upon. Or is that $5,700/week the total for all 8 players combined?

I would think he would be able to get on a real squad somewhere. The Redskins management is just as bad as the Cowboys - have no clue what they are doing. Watch McNabb light it up in Minn.

Found my answer. It is $5,700 per player for 17 weeks. ($96,900/year). Not bad and keeps him in play. I do agree it would be better to latch on with an active roster position but this would be better than going home.
