For someone who stresses time-and-time again on this board how other posters don't get it right or are morons, idiots, [deleted]*s, etc., you still continue to call it Div. 1-AA. It is no longer Div. 1-AA but Div. 1-A FCS (Football Championship Subdivision). It became Div. 1-A FCS in 2006. It has a 'true' national championship game determined thru a playoff system, unlike the Div. 1-A FBS (Football Bowl Subdivision).

The point, Froggie, is showing that programs like SMU, TCU, etc. will never compete for a 'true' national championship in their classification, unlike programs like Appalachian State, Furman, Delaware, etc.

I think we both agree that the FCS is the right model. I just think these new names are a joke. How is changing the names of the divisions equal to "showing that programs like SMU, TCU, etc. will never compete for a 'true' national championship in their classification"? I guess I just don't get that. Anyway...that's not the point either....I do get that the Div 1AA schools get to play for a true championship while we in the FBS are stuck with an idiotic bowl system.

It may not help, but it doesn't hurt to vent frustration here either--we do not want a coach who reads and relies on message boards as part of their decision-making process, same as recruits.

At some point haven't you vented? I've never known someone to vent every living breathing hour. To research hours so that he can vent. To vent as if he's billing for it. I mean really.

I'm still allowed to vent at 1-7 with no bowl or championships in year 18. I'll stop venting when I know the restrictions are gone even if that's before we win. I've been tightly focused to that issue for 18 years.
