That seals it. I'm voting for Palin. Just send 'da money.
i am sure some little kill-joy wussie brought it up to some university official and they in turn asked PonyFans management to make the announcement. PonyFans may be just the messenger. like it's really a huge problem and smu officals don't have better things to do. i hope dudley doo right is all warm and fuzzy now that some seats will be empty that would have been filled because someone picked up a few extra seats for a slight discount to get friends to come to a game.
yep....looks like ticket scalping is a major freaking problem there dudley! ![]() C-ya @ Milos!
Uhh, are you guys under the impression that SMU employees don't read this site?
Sir, shooting-star, sir.

It is good to know that our University is addressing the insane post-purchase trafficking of unwanted tickets...it is evident that with 20K empty seats at every home game they are readily doing their collective jobs with the same intensity that a top 25 athletic program should expect...(insert crickets chirping)...
see you at the game. stable-boy for the four horsemen of the apocalypse
My impression is that at least part of the issue is the delivery of re-sold tickets. When tickets are re-sold through TicketMaster, SMU can print the ticket and make sure it gets in the right hands, because of the contract between SMU and TicketMaster, just like the contract most professional teams have with TicketMaster or a similar ticket-selling entity.
Thank you. PonyFans.com ... is really the premier place for Mustang talk on the Web.

And because UNT allows it so should SMU
Ticketmaster is evil. I don't not want to get PF.com into trouble, but I do not play well with Ticketmaster. They suck. "Moderation in all things, and especially in Absoluts [vodka]." The Benediction, Doc Breeden, circa 1992
LiveNation is just as bad
Re: seriously? Yes - seriously
I'm guessing the friend cited for scalping was within a certain distance of the AAC. I think there are scalping rules for selling tickets at certain city facilities.
Good God what is that avatar?! ![]() I rank that up there...mm...check that...a notch down from Kathy Bates in a hot tub...but it's not pretty. "Moderation in all things, and especially in Absoluts [vodka]." The Benediction, Doc Breeden, circa 1992
