AD Hart Should Give Away Tickets To Fill The Stands

Hart has done more to improve the game day atmosphere than I have seen in the last 10 years. I am giving him an A so far. What will be telling is when he needs to make a hire.

The cost of tickets is not what is keeping people away.

I have four extras that I try to give away to various non-SMU people who live in the Dallas area every game and the only time I get bites are when we play old SWC foes. Otherwise, I can't give them away, and they are good seats. Attendance has been a problem at SMU since the Cowboys came to town many years ago. Even the Pony Express played in front of an embarrassing number of empty seats unless we were playing TCU, Texas or Arkansas. Even then, only Arkansas sold out Texas Stadium as I recall from those distant years past.
