So today while i was watching the game on cstv (greatness by the way.. i have not missed a game all year thanks to cstv) and I had to ask my buddies this question..
When your a team that is in a lot of games but still loses them, is the outlook of the team - glass half full or half empty?
i ask this b/c luckily in my life i have always been on winning teams (i am from highland park).. my friends response was that if your team is young .. ie=smu, the glass should be half full because you realize that you are this close to being a much better team and you just have to capitalize on your chances that you are given.
I really believe that is true w/ this team.. we are still young and we are playing very good football for three quarters every game and unfortunately in the 4th quarter we peter out physically/mentally.. but that can be fixed w/ more recruiting classes like the last two years and a good offseason..
and with martin getting better in the offseason and having a playmaker and good decision maker like willis in the backfield .. we can and will get better.. so the my glass of milk/beer is half full
