JUCOSI was believing that the quickest way to turn this around was to recruit some jucos. Now I think it is the only way out. Lets sign a QB, 2WR, DL, and OL from the Juco ranks and start the process of turning this around. 5, just give us 5!

Re: JUCOSRegardless of the policy in general. This is a critical year to recruit JUCOs as the sophmore class is small.
Go Ponies!!
Beat whoever it is we are playing!! @PonyGrad
Re: JUCOSI think it is a little late to start recruiting impact Jucos for the 2004 season, unfortunately.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Re: JUCOSI don't understand the rediculous arguments.
WE CANNOT GET THEM INTO SCHOOL, PERIOD!!!!! Therefore, we cannot recruit them (with a few exceptions). This is akin to your accountant telling you that you are broke and then replying "Well, let's just go to the bank and get some more money".
Re: JUCOSWell, yes and no. But the analogy certainly is wrong. It isn't that we cannot get them into school; it is that the coaches CANNOT get them in BECAUSE the school WILL NOT let them in. Re: JUCOSWell Bennett has stated that he is going to bring in a JC QB so we will see.
And, as I think OP posted some time ago, if we are going to bring in a QB why stop there? [ 11-04-2003, 07:49 AM: Message edited by: Diehard Pony ]
Re: JUCOS....because we love to see Cheerleaders for the Administration like GoRedGoBlue admit for all to see that SMU truly isn't COMMITTED to compete on an even playing field with its natural and traditional rivals.

When momentum starts rolling downhill in recruiting-WATCH OUT.
