Throwback Uniforms

I apologize if I'm not plowing new ground here, but what is the deal about the team wearing jerseys from 1983 vs. Rutgers? I have missed quite a lot of the recent posts on this board but it seems like this move would make quite a few of you happy, and happier still if we reverted to that look permanently.

Wearing them for just the 1st half would be sufficient. They looked good in the 80s. Now? meh
