Throwback Uniforms

I apologize if I'm not plowing new ground here, but what is the deal about the team wearing jerseys from 1983 vs. Rutgers? I have missed quite a lot of the recent posts on this board but it seems like this move would make quite a few of you happy, and happier still if we reverted to that look permanently.
