Re: ESPN Ranking after Week 1I think sounds about right to me so far.
Re: ESPN Ranking after Week 1Thats a pretty good starting place. If we can beat Maryland on the road could be in an interesting spot for TCU.
Re: ESPN Ranking after Week 1Winning out in the non-conference schedule would be amazing and definitely grab national attention. 23 is an awesome start.
Re: ESPN Ranking after Week 1Cincy and Houston out. Shocked we are ahead of Florida.
Re: ESPN Ranking after Week 1Just win the next one... get Preston some quality touches. Stay healthy and all is good.
Happy to see 23. Hail to the Rhett and the blue! Mustang Militia: Fight the good fight"

It’s FPI ranking https://www.espn.com/college-football/fpi "And as long as they're keeping score, there will always be people who try to do everything they can to put up more points than the other guy." -Brent Musberger

Re: ESPN Ranking after Week 1shows these polls are popularity contests. I mean, how many of these coaches have actual time to watch teams? It's unreasonable to think they will provide a top 25 ranking that is accurate outside of popularity and perceptions. We don't have any credit on that regard so folks will doubt SMU until we beat Maryland, the toads, etc.
Re: ESPN Ranking after Week 1
We are leading the AAC.
