No!!!!!!!!!
He's supposed to be a great player. Think there's any chance Bennett can change his mind?

I assume this bumps Avery Cleveland and Jason Berryman up the priority list?

Berryman was quoted last week as saying he was considering marking SMU off his list. No update since. I've seen several points mostly on the TCU board for some reason that suggests SMU has a good shot at Cleveland but I don't know the basis of that statement.

At least we didn't lose Darius to TCU. We have come a long way. I remember Cavan stating a few years ago that we seldom if ever recruited the same players as TCU. Now we are recruiting the same players as the BSC schools and winning many of those.

It's not like he's signed yet Image Well, is he still visiting SMU or not? Rivals took SMU off his list of visits.

yes ...he is still to make his visit this weekend. He was quoted in the Baton Rouge paper as saying... "if signing date were today, I'd be a Tiger. But I still have at least one visit left this weekend." Hopefully, he makes the visit and can see what a GREAT campus and stadium has SMU.

Incidentally, Darius visited LSU in December.

So there's still a shot at him? Coach Bennett has done a hell of a job getting guys, once they're on campus. Hopefully he can pull it off again.
