RESTON, Va. - Wilson Pickett, the soul pioneer best known for the fiery hits "Mustang Sally" and "In The Midnight Hour," died of a heart attack Thursday, according to his management company. He was 64.
I figured this would be an appropriate post to break my silence. "Mustang Sally" is one of my favorite songs of all time. I especially enjoy the Mustang Band's version.
R.I.P., Wilson Pickett...you won't be forgotten. "Ride Sally Ride!"'
