Congrats!

Great win for you all last night. I know there have been a lot of tough years so enjoy it. I think you exposed us for the very average team that we are this year. We just didn't capitalize on the opportunities we had. I really believe the game turned when we had 2nd & 5 on your 7 yard line early in the third qtr (just after the shanked punt) with the score 14-10. We were moving the ball on the ground and for some reason we tried to pass and Gunn was sacked. We end up missing the FG and I said right then that that was probably the ballgame and it was. If we score a TD and go up 17-14 early in the 3rd quarter then I think it is a completely different game and we would have had all of the momentum. Ahhhh, but I know...if Ifs were fifths!!! It was a cool atmosphere. I just wish it had been an earlier kickoff and no UT game so there could have been a better crowd.

Also, last night was my first chance to walk down the Boulevard before the game and it was really cool - I wish TCU had a set up like that. Good luck against A&M this week.

Carefull - more reasonable posts like that and you will spoil all the preconceived opinions around here of the average TCU fan.

I hear ya. I have been posting on here over the last 4 to 5 years and I do my best to be reasonable, win or lose. There are good and bad fans at every school and on every message board (in fact I met some of both from SMU last night:). After all, it's just a game and there are more important things to worry about in this world.

Yeah, for a purple toad...ReedFrawg is an alright guy. He is always welcome as far as I'm concerned. BTW ReedFrawg, I have a number of TCU friends and they are all great fun to be around...except when SMU beats TCU. :lol:
