F you and everybody like you. If you don't think we got snubbed and the conference got hosed you should not be an SMU fan and are an addjole. This goes out to not just PonySnob whose Schtick is more than tiring and annoying.

The only thing worse than putting up the the NCAA [deleted] is putting up with so called SMU fans that say we deserve it.

I've been a season ticket holder in football and basketball for the last 23 years.......so don't even tell me about being fan. At the end of the day, the team didn't do what they needed to do and give 100% in two games against truly inferior teams (USF and Temple) and then key players played like morons in two critical games at the end of the season. In the last 3 games, the team showed very little that they would be anything besides a one and done in the NCAA tourney.

Snob - please point out the teams in the tournament that have no bad losses.

We were snubbed. People who have nothing to do with SMU but just know basketball all agree. Yes we could have won a couple games and made it impossible for them to snub us, but we were snubbed non the less.

Vegas had us as a lock, and they are not usually wrong. You however are always negative and usually wrong.

The issue with you is your constant negativity - why do you even bother being an SMU fan? We need everyone we can get as fans, but I can honestly say we'd be better off without you actually.

We didn't help the cause with the Houston loss but you're kidding yourself if you don't think we got snub. BYU lost to four truly inferior teams within their conference, which is a truly inferior conference, yet they easily got in - 10 seed.

I'll remember that the next time the school calls asking for money which they seem to do on a fairly regular basis. Trust me, I'm disappointed in the fact that the team did not get picked for the tournament and was even at Moody to see the excitement when our name was called. The life was sucked out of the building when we didn't get called and you could see the disbelief in pretty much everybody's eyes. Perhaps we did get a snub due to the 3 bad losses or the 3 game losing streak to end the season but in any event there is no reason for the team to not shake it off and come out on Wednesday night and put on a performance like they did against UConn, Cincinnati, Memphis or in most of the other games that they played in Moody this year. Was I ready to head to wherever we went in the NCAA, yes, but I'm also looking forward to seeing SMU at home several more times this season.

Sorry I went off. My comments weren't only directed at you.

You are a fan, at times irritating, but still an SMU. We can vehemently disagree on lots of things, but we are in the same boat.

I really was POed at the whole thing and to get a royal screwing then have people on here apologizing for the selection committee put me over the edge.

I truly apologize for my harsh language.

Not that it really matters now, I agree every team has a bad loss, but very few have a loss like USF. I'm in no way trying to justify the getting snubbed bs because they 100% did. But a loss to an RPI 200+ is extremely bad, they need to either get much better quickly or they hurt the conference big time. It's crap. If they were even decent, RPI 101-150 range, we wouldn't be having this discussion because it wouldn't have mattered.
