Per LB: “Next year we’re going to Indiana, we’ve got Arkansas,†Brown said this morning. “We’re going to beef it up as best we can.â€
Re: IU next year"non-conference scheduling for his program has been a challenge as many of the top programs in Texas refuse to come play at Moody Coliseum."
Pu$$ies
Re: IU next year
Since SMU doesn't have Virginia doesn't have on the schedule then Indiana basically replacing them. So we are essentially back to the same OOC schedule as last year at this point. #HammerDown
Re: IU next yearany word on playing in an early season tournament? It would help our OOC schedule to get in a strong one.
Re: IU next yearMake no mistake, I'm glad that we're adding Indiana, but the problem was not at the top end of our OOC schedule, it was the bottom end that was the problem.
It's UIC, McNeese, SE Louisiana, TX Pan Am (Rhode Island and TCU were even worse than expected, which didn't help, either) that cost us... gotta upgrade the TERRIBLE teams to merely below-average teams, and it'll make a huge difference. Stallion doesn't think I'm a stinkin' genius anymore.
Re: IU next year
This.
Re: IU next year
Exactly. 125-150 range won't hurt. And wail on the low end of our own conference. USF/Temple cannot happen again. Party at The Wopper!
Re: IU next year
Yes. We cannot guarantee no unexpected losses, but we can put ourselves in better position before the season starts with a better schedule.
Re: IU next year
This pretty much sums it up exactly. Great teams don't have take ANYONE lightly. Play every team like they stole your lunch money and NEVER take the foot off the throat.
