There are no speakers on that side of the stadium, so for all you folks who get bounced out of your seats on the west side, they hear nothing on the student side. The entire sound system in Ford needs to be ripped out and they can start over - this time with someone who knows and cares what they are doing.
Insane: as someone who does not care AT ALL for rap or hip-hop, I was LOVING that song that gets the team bouncing. It played SEVERAL times last night. GO MUSTANGS!

Dude, before kickoff, the ENTIRE kickoff team on the field was DANCING to the hip hop blasting from the speakers...

We should start playing some metal. I know this would only pump me and a couple others up, but come on, it'd be fun.
Actually, since I'm drumming again this year, I don't particularly need any more music.

Biggest problem with the music isn't what is playing just where it is coming out. Sitting on the student section side, you can't hear anything of the music.

So whats your saying is, the people they are playing the hip-hop for, the students and younger crowd dont even hear it?
That's exactly what I'm saying. That's why the whole issue borders on the absurd.

You must be talking too much...on the west side it is so loud I swear they can hear it down at Central Expressway.

He is not talking too much. As others have posted, you can not hear the PA on the east side or in the inzone. Can't hear the prayer, the music, the announcements of alma maters, etc.
Why can we string some cables to the east side and install a few speakers over there?
Just send 'da money.

We couldn't do that, then the speakers would point back to HP and it might inconvenience someone, though if they would come to complain maybe we could make them buy a ticket adn help attendance, and heaven forbid they might enjoy it and come back
