Indiana is going to be loaded next year. Ifthey don't have Noah or Yoggi go to the pros, going to be an extremely tough win. I don't know how much you know about Indiana but anyone that even watches the team occasionally knows they're going to be very good. They were preseason top 25 this year. They lost a lot of tough games and knocked off some pretty good teams. They're going to be good. Would be a marquee win for SMU even if Yoggi and Noah jump.

We learned from the tournament committee that it is better to have good losses than bad wins.

Did someone tell Yogi he's ready for the NBA?

Indiana is strong in "name" right now. If that fresh center(name escapes me) enters the NBA, the Hoosiers are "in a world of hurt!" If no NCAA Tournament run. . . Hearing next year that the back of Tom Crean's britches will be engulfed in flames.

OBF, Indiana went 17-15, not exactly a stellar season. Didn't even make the NIT. So what if Indiana was ranked Preseason Top 25. Wasn't Kentucky ranked #1? Where did Kentucky end up at the end of the year? Exactly. No disrespect intended, but I guess the Preseason Top 25 really doesn't tell us all that much. Let's don't act like Indiana is a Top 25 Team.
Sure Indiana lost some close games, so did SMU (Virginia, Arkansas, Houston). Every team loses a few close games. I am sure that Indiana will have some talented freshmen who will contribute next year. I guess any team with Tom Crean as coach should have high expectations.
I am just hoping that the "Indiana" name keeps its "Basketball Greatness" folklore next year. Hoping that SMU having the name "Indiana" on our schedule will show everyone that we are playing an above average OOC schedule.

Alright, Indiana is not going to be very good. Is that what you want to hear? I didn't say this year was stellar, I'm telling you there is a ton of talent there and more coming. I've seen their commits play and Blackmon is a day one starter at SG. He can light it up, they're going to be very good next year. I'm 100% positive they are a top 15 if they return their underclassmen.

Didn't make the NIT Tournament. Declined an invite to the CBI Tournament. I think they were 15-17 on the year. Plus Indiana is probably losing one of their best players to the NBA, Noah Vonleh (maybe a Top 5 pick). Hopefully just a down year for Indiana. They definitely have a top notch coach in Tom Crean.
Even though they had a "down year" (17-15 btw), their RPI was 99th. If we played them this season, it would have been our third best OOC game, behind UVA and Arky

Bump! An Indiana poster on their Rivals page says the SMU @ Indiana is an exempt tournament. . . If it's from the Internet, it must be true!

IMO, Blackmon will be one of ther few freshman that make a big splash next year. Guy is a stud.

I am guessing that Indiana might not be all that good next season. Possibly losing one to the NBA Draft and 2 to transfer. Don't know much about the transfers. They might not have played much? Don't know much about their incoming freshman other than Blackmon. SMU in Bloomington is looking better and better. A very winnable game.
Read on ESPN.com tonight... On Monday, coach Tom Crean announced two players would transfer to other schools -- just hours after word leaked that star freshman Noah Vonleh was headed to the NBA.
Crean issued a news release that said forward Austin Etherington, a redshirt sophomore, and forward Jeremy Hollowell, a sophomore, were looking for new schools.

I was kind of hoping that Nic would get to play against Austin. They were AAU and Indiana All Star teammates.
