The first two weeks of the season have produced a couple really good games. One was a heartbreaker, the other a great win. I got two lists below, my personal ranking of the Top 10 victories since 89 and the 10 Biggest Heartbreakers. My dates might be slightly off. Also, the Aggies show up on both lists.

Best Wins

1. TCU 2005: ranked opponent, big rival, early season win.
2. A&M 1994: ok, it was a tie, but they were #7 in the country.
3. Arkansas 1996: Shreveport, early season game, big win.
4. Houston 1992: the ultimate revenge game after 95-21.
5. Kansas 2000: it was big, we just didnt follow it up with anything.
6. Arkansas 1995: goal line stand at Cotton Bowl.
7. TCU 1992: First SWC win post DP
8. TCU 1998: Doak Walker Day at the Cotton Bowl.
9. Arkansas 1992: Win at Little Rock
10. Utah 1998: Road win against decent team.

Biggest Heartbreaks

1. A&M 1995: Albert Connell / zebras
2. Ole Miss 1997: big lead, then big collapse.
3. TCU 1996: lose to 0-10 frogs in finale of our best season in years.
4. BYU 1998: OT at the Cotton Bowl, fall short.
5. Missouri 1995: At the Cotton Bowl, makable field goal goes wide right.
6. UCLA 1997: at Rose Bowl, Flanigan falls short at goalline.
7. Wisconsin 1994: Had em on the ropes at Ownby.
8. Baylor 2005: Had em down 14-6 in the second half.
9. TCU 2003: Phillips stands tall, we fall just short of shocker.
10. North Carolina 1994?: Another close call at Ownby.

Thats my list from off the cuff memory. I probably missed some and definitely missed some dates.

They should hvae been doing the "Top 90" leading up to homecoming. That list, suspect as it was at times, needs to be rewritten. Where on the list it goes is the only thing Stallion would complain about.
