In the system it may show sold out because of the reserved seats for season ticket holders.

It is sold out BUT FOR the season ticket holders who have right of first refusal. My estimation is that the school will not release un-renewed season tickets to the general public and will keep those for distribution to key donors who are in town, unable to get tickets, etc. I would not hold out hope that the school all of a sudden has 1,000 seats or even 100 that come available after right of refusal expires.

what the heck. I checked for tickets last night and it said item currently unavailable and i checked at 8:30 like what the email said and I got the same message. How were we supposed to get tickets then?

there was a long line of folks buying seats last night after the game. Not sure how many went that way but it is possible 1000 or so.
