From the email I got.

The ticket costs for Round 3 are $35 for premium sections (floor, club and loge), $20 for side court sections (203-205, 211-213) and $10 for all other 200 level locations. Parking will be available at both Moody and Binkley Garages for $10.

Are you in the side court sections?

Funny. Probably would not think about it if the tickets were $100 each, but at $10 each it seems high. Just glad they are reserved for this one.

I shot a note to the ticket office and they had me call them to avoid the $10 fee. Fantastic customer service. Really, this is a TicketMaster "feature" that caught SMU by surprise.

It was my season ticket, but it's a pretty terrible season ticket so I wasn't too excited about getting hit with a 100% markup for the seat that I only sat in when forced to because the stadium was packed. I'd have rather paid $10 for a random seat. That was my gripe. SMU refunding the fee though. You could consider me deeply principled.

Have you not bought a ticket over the internet...ever?

Ticketmaster invented bulsh fees. Concerts are worse. They charge a % fee, handling fee, and they even used to charge a fee to print the ticket on your own damn printer at home. Luckily that went away, or more likely they just merged that into another fee.

You want the convenience of a reserved seat and the ability to sit at home and purchase a ticket? That ability costs money. It could be a lot worse, we get off easy.

I just bought some Disney on Ice tics online....
$2.99 to email them to me.
