Don't see the point of people buying tickets to just turn around and put them on stubhub. Sure its a way to make a little bit of money, but it is also a low moral move as well. LET'S PRICE OUT THE FANBASE! I don't want to see Moody turn into the snotty stronghold known as AAC.

Message just went out saying the fac/staff tix allotment has been "exhausted".

I posted this somewhere else last night, but I took this picture of the ticket line as I was walking out

Totally agree with this. The only three reasons SMU people should be buying tickets:

(1) to go to the game
(2) to give to SMU fans for free or at face value
(3) to donate to DISD high schools to cultivate a true Dallas pro-SMU fan base that wants to send their kids and student athletes to our school and get a good education.

I personally don't begrudge the people who buy season tickets and sell tickets on Stubhub to one of the premier regular season games to recoup some of the investment. That's the only way I could justify the expense if I had season tickets. But you would hope that wouldn't be the case for bonus basketball like the NIT, which has much more potential for good publicity if we make it to New York and needs a fully pro-SMU crowd.

Please note that you cannot donate tickets to DISD high schools or high school aged kids. If you have any interest in doing this, please do it through the school and ensure compliance is involved.

Except if you sell on Stub hub you can't control who buys - and we really need our people on the floor and in the red seats to not sell to opposing fans. Every game we have is televised - we don't need to EVER see opposing fans in the lower bowl unless they cam with the other team and are sitting right behind the bench.

If you have lower bowel seats and you need to sell them to anyone just to pay for them, maybe you shouldn't have lower bowl seats

Not a lot of Cal fans will have the wherewithal to get a quick flight to Dallas ($2,000 round trip probably). Probably not many of them in DFW, maybe 500? So, if they want to snap up a few tickets, so be it. They don't eat corndogs, just brie and chablis.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

Wouldn't the flight from Cali be un unacceptable expansion of their carbon footprint?

Bought mine thru SMU using my season ticket account. Could only buy my two seats. The rest were sold out.

This Cal team looks pretty legit. They beat Ariz, Stanford. In terms of teams we've played in common, they also beat Ark twice and beat UCI as well.
