Another team that seems to benefit from a raucous home court crowd. I'm not sure they'd have beaten Belmont on a neutral floor.

I think I hear echoes in Minnesota's Fieldhouse-its a cavern. That's Moody's secret-low ceiling and sound just bounces back down

Low metal roof, and the best thing they did which is leave some exposed concrete on the walls. It is a jolt to your system when the whole place gets rolling. When the students get the red seats to go nuts then it is CRAZY loud in there.

Southern Miss looks they have just completely run out of gas. I thought in First Half they might blow Minnesota out. Down 11

Southern Miss hanging in there down 62-54 with 7:43 left.

These quick turnaround games have to be tough on the road teams - hopefully this will hold true tomorrow night.

I am surrounded by obnoxious redneck Florida State fans here in the Florida panhandle. Would love to see a FSU / SMU final at MSG with a dominant pony victory!!

Wait, Clemson really stormed the court for a NIT Quarterfinal game?

The Road has been paved:

LSU (SEC)
Cal (Pac 12)
Clemson (ACC)

probably Minnesota (Big 10) or
Florida St (ACC)

Clemson & Minnesota have punched their tickets to NYC and Madison Square Garden. Time for SMU to join the garden party tomorrow night. . . You know the NIT really nailed the seeding for the tournament. . . Cough, Cough! Ron Wellman you should take notes.
