I was surprised to see so many tickets on stubhub and they don't seem to be selling. Could make for a lot of empty seats that could have been sold (or even given) to students.

I bet you see the tickets come down 4 hours before when warning emails go out, then a scramble to find friends to fill seats.

At this same time point at Louisville and LSU games there were less than 45 tickets listed on stubhub

It seems the scalpers are buying a bunch of tickets. Will get fixed next year when we sell out with season tickets.

I still believe the reason for the "sell out" was because they sold all the season tickets on the ticket site. We were invoiced for those tickets right after the LSU game but had to pay for them by noon yesterday or they were dropped from our page. I am confident that 3500 people did not go into the ticket site and buy their tickets before noon yesterday. I also am confident many that did buy them put them on stubhub afterwards. No mystery to me. Announcing the sell out may have been premature but technically it was until noon yesterday.
