Yep…those blokes make anything over here seem like church. Never seen or heard anything like it.

Go Man City!

Yes, City!!!! You're in NY, right? Ever watched a match at Mad Hatter? It's on my bucket list.

No I haven't. Usually Nevada Smith's on Third down by Union Square. I live out in the Hamptons 100 miles out but I'm in there weekly. Man City just partnered with the Yankees to bring a new team into MLS and will be building a new soccer venue right next to Yankee Stadium.

And where beer is served, beer will be spilled.

My simple rules.

Apologize profusely if you are the spiller. Buy the next round.

Try to be cool if you are the spillee. It's not always easy especially when the folks at the game, concert, party have already rubbed you the wrong way. Even then I try to use it as a bonding moment. After all, we are all there for pretty much the same reason.

I for one, am quite happy Moody Coliseum is earning a reputation as a hostile environment for visiting players & coaches.

I love it to - I want teams to be nervous to play here. I love that we have a reputation of getting under opposing teams skin, especially when it causes a coach to get a technical. Think of how many points the crowd has scored this year for SMU by badgering an opposing coaches to get technical.

I think we can all agree that Racist or Violent things being yelled are inexcusable though and it is never appropriate to boo an injury.

Boo'ing otherwise is very appropriate - it's just as bad as cheering anything else while the opposing team is being introduced.

Some places you can't even take your family any more because it is too dangerous, especially when alcohol is involved. Sure, I know LSU fans are some of the worst but can't we win and do it with class too?

What venue is too dangerous to bring your family to??????

From what I've seen when I've visited other college and professional venues - If you are a visiting fan and you keep to yourself and don't mouth off to the home fans they'll leave you alone for the most part

I love it as well and want the reputation of a tough place to play. It's really more about the noise level and the potential for distraction. I'm not much for booing but I'm always ready to join in a "start the bus" chant.
What is happening at Moody now is far better than what WAS happening there.

And…I was going to hold this question until tomorrow but I'll let it fly now: Do you think we'd have done as well in post season play if the games were on neutral or away courts?

I think there is a very real possibility we never recover from the early deficit versus UCI on a neutral court.

Moody has quickly evolved into a place of hell for teams coming in. After every game, some player or coach will always mention the atmosphere. LSU guard said "That place is hostile." Whenever someone says "that place...." you know it's terrifying.

My take on all of this is to start with just rooting for YOUR team. LOUDLY!!! If one of their players pulls a [deleted] move, then you have every right to tear into them. But, generally, I like sticking to yelling FOR my team and not so much against another team. But, again, if circumstances call for it, I'm all for unleashing the ugly for those asking for it. But then and only then. So, stuff like "S.M.U", "DEEEfense", "Moody Magic", etc. But none of the "overrrrated" or "air .... ball" or stuff like that unless, again, the player is acting like a [deleted]. Then let him have it! "15 seconds" is perfectly fine for Pitino in my book, he's a [deleted]. :-)

Saw Man City FC play Chelsea last year in Busch Stadium. Man C. came from behind to erased a 2 goal deficit in the end on the second period. Great game with about 50,000 in attendance.

What, no "airball" chant?? I don't care who you are or how you're acting, if you shoot an airball on the road you should hear it for the rest of the game. I'm with you on the "overrated" chant though.
