Texas fans will be the first to tell you going to a game there is miserable

I think he said he'd announce at the McDAA Game. But this is his last official. (to see how much is in the briefcase).
And, you know what? Good for him.
Next.

It makes sense that he would go to all the other schools so that he wouldn't have to pay for room and board. I would have liked for him to take another unofficial visit to SMU for tonight's game. I think that Turner will definitely help our program and has the potential to be a great NBA player, but I am not sure how much of a difference he will bring next year beyond being a great shot blocker and his ability to spread the floor. Here is a game from last summer. I feel like he still has a lot of work to do, similar to when Frazier came to us. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wOoE2KXZx7ATurner won't be as NBA ready as Mudiay. Mudiay has played high school basketball all across the United States against the stiffest competition, while Turner hasn't--I know he participated in AAU, but organized high school bball is a different beast. Turner easily dominated in high school because he was bigger than most opponents. He needs to gain weight and learn better post moves to dominate in college and the NBA.

I'm almost wondering if we really want the increased program scrutiny that would come with SMU signing 2 of the top 5 players in the nation...
I'd love the signing, don't get me wrong, just want to keep the ncaa away from our program as long as possible.

You may be right, but it sure seems like Myles (or one of his "people") would be the one with the power to make the demands at the present time.

This was my initial thought as well. Would accept him with open arms no doubt. The publicity alone would be huge and he could definitely help us. But, again, I'm not going to cry if he doesn't come here. His loss.
